Mr P’s “I Love You Because” Video with Stan & Blessing Nze Is the Sweetest Thing You’ll Watch Today

Mr P brings the romance in his new music video for I Love You Because, teaming up with Nollywood favourites Stan and Blessing Nze for an early taste of his upcoming album, OG Forever.

Mr P smiles in a painter costume against a painted starry night sky in the visual set for his I Love You music video.

If you’re not boo’d up this season, you really might feel a little jealous, and we don’t blame you. Who wouldn’t after watching Mr P sing his heart out in his latest single, “I Love You Because,” while Stan and Blessing Nze spend the entire video reminding us what being completely in love looks like? From romantic dinners to quiet moments on the couch, the Nollywood couple gives us a love story that feels sweet, familiar, and completely convincing.

The music video is all about love in its everyday form. Mr P, whose real name is Peter Okoye, performs in striking settings while Stan and Blessing Nze take us through different expressions of love, sharing dinner, spending time together at home, and enjoying each other’s company in the simplest ways. The video beautifully captures the idea that love is often found in ordinary moments.

Visually, the video is a feast. Mr P performs inside a grand opera hall with golden classical architecture and a dramatic chandelier overhead, wearing richly embroidered black and green jackets that add a sophisticated edge to the production. The romantic scenes are presented inside a vintage wooden television frame, while painterly textures and artistic brushstrokes give the video a beautifully cinematic feel.

“I Love You Because” is a celebration of love, commitment, and companionship, and it also builds anticipation for Mr P’s highly anticipated second solo studio album, titled OG Forever, which is scheduled for release later in 2026. With Stan and Blessing Nze bringing the love story to life and Mr P delivering the emotion behind the song, this is one video that will have hopeless romantics hitting replay more than once.
